Cliff, Got it! thanxs.
Were they playing at a REAL Christian University? Or just the name...hard to believe any Texas redneck-christian U would even allow the GD to play. Casey Jones must have been a hit- haha

Don't forget this texas barnstormer of a show http://www.archive.org/details/gd1982-07-31.mtx.chappell.sb11.30625.sbeok.flac16
Lot of good shows in the lone star state.

Check stormweb's review:

Reviewer: stormweb - [5.0 out of 5 stars] - July 31, 2005
Subject: My first show
I love finding these moments from my treasured past, and sounding with a clarity that my mind has forgotten. 16 songs in the first set. I had bought all the Dead albums when they came out, but didn't see them until this Homecoming show at Texas Christan University. Lots of blue Tuxes and gaudy gowns mixed in with the hippies. Quite a site. So even though I knew their albums, I had never heard Jack Straw or One More Sat Night.
So pleased to have this back.

Seems pretty darn'd genuine to me.

Rasta,

They also played at Southern Methodist University in Dallas the day after Christmas in 1969. One of my favorite acoustic sets.
